Treatment Philosophy
Oxford Treatment Center is a 110 acre campus located within the Holly Springs National Forest. With a 5-acre lake, ducks, geese and beautiful undisturbed forest land, the rural setting at Oxford Treatment Center offers a tranquil healing environment. Our approach to addiction treatment is a holistic one, seeking to restore hope and health to individuals who come to us out of painful, self-destructive patterns. It’s not enough to end a physical dependency through successful medical detox. On the other side of that first step, the individual in recovery must have the right support in place to break those old habits and replace them with new ones. He or she must find a new way to fill the void that drugs or alcohol once did — essentially, find a new meaning in life. At Oxford Treatment Center, our team of dedicated professionals consists of a medical director, a board certified addictions psychiatrist, a board certified internist, and 6 board certified nurse practitioners. The most unique hallmark of our team of medical providers is an average of 8 year tenure at Oxford Treatment Center. The medical provider cohort is proud of the stability and commitment it provides to our patients.

My faith in humanity has been restored by oxford treatment center staff and their genuine kindness. Music group, art group, equine groups, ropes and 12 step walk are totally the best. Loved the process group and morning all campus groups as well.

The Lovelady Center

Rehab is what u make of it. No matter where you go. I was ready, I was tired and sick and tired. I went to this place for rehab and it completely and totally change the course of my life forever. I will never be able to say thank you enough. I was a drug addict for 15 years and had given up hope of getting clean until I met these wonderful people. They loved me when I didn’t love myself and had faith in me when I didn’t believe in myself. They taught me the meaning of true unconditional love and taught me how to love myself again. In my experience the people that have bad things to say are usually the people that got in trouble or got kicked out because they didn’t follow the rules. I would say 9 times out of 10 the person complaining got caught doing something they shouldn’t have and got Kicked out or consequences and instead of standing up and taking responsibility for their actions they want to sit around and blame other people and complain when they’re the one to blame to begin with. It’s an older building in Eastlake if you don’t follow the rules that say not to have food out you might end up with some bugs but it’s because you didn’t follow the rules! you’re not supposed to have food in your room unless you have your food stored in a plastic tote. A lot of people didn’t follow the rules and didn’t do what they were supposed to do and then complained of the consequences when you’re the one that caused them. I was there I went through the program I was there for over a year I can tell you what’s real and what’s not. Clean your room don’t leave food out keep your food stored where it supposed to be and you don’t have problems like bugs or rats it all boils down to personal choices outside in the real world and at the Lovelady Center. If you can’t keep a small room at a rehab facility clean then you’re not ready to live in the real world. How do you expect God to bless you with the big things if you can’t even manage the little things. I would absolutely recommend this place to anybody that was struggling with addiction or just needed a new lease on life. I cannot say enough amazing things about this place. Today because of going here to this place I have almost 14 years clean of addiction after many many attempts to get clean on my own but always failed until I went to the Lovelady Center. I will be forever grateful and so will my family. God blessed me with a life that I would’ve never imagined possible for myself if it not been for Miss Brenda and miss Melinda and amazing staff at a Lovelady center. Thank you doesn’t even begin to cover it!

The Haven

Strengths include: group therapy daily, counseling one-on-one, religious services, and cleanliness. However, there were not enough activities like exercise or watching tv. I don't think it's worth the money, many I have talked to have returned over and over so obviously their forms of treatment are not working.
