Action is a very great place that teaches not just tools for recovery but life tools as well more than feeling love from my family I feel like action is my family and the staff members there have taught me pretty much the things I know such as how to be the young man I am today and for that action is the greatest place that I\'ve been to ever

I would highly recommend Action Family Counseling to anyone with an addiction problem. The staff is absolutely awesome, you get 3 or (as many meals you want a day), a warm bed to sleep in, and just an all around welcoming feeling... Kind of like you\'ve made it home finally, when you walk in that place. I also recommend the after care or intensive outpatient program immediately following residential program. If you need help, go to Action, I have that family to thank for helping me find a new way to live my life.

I LOVE Action Family Bakersfield!!! I have been employed by Action for almost 4 years. All the staff is like a big family, working together to help people and families effected by addiction. The program directors are incredibly intelligent and insightful. The facility managers go above and beyond to keep clients comfortable and important. The chef is a gift to all who consume his food, he caters to each individual\'s likes and dislikes when shopping and prepares delicious home cooked meals 3 times a day. 5 days a week. The counsellors are amazing and genuinely care about each client\'s recovery. I know that I would still be clean and sober without Action, 4 1/2 years and counting!!! If I was no longer an employee, I would continue to recommend friends and family members because they treat you as if you are!
