About San Diego Rescue Mission Women and Children's Center

The San Diego Rescue Mission offers a 12-month substance abuse treatment program for homeless men. The facility provides basic needs such as food and shelter, as well as comprehensive, faith-based alcohol and drug addiction treatment designed to heal the whole person — mind, body and soul. The hope is that residents will learn to address and overcome the issues that led to homelessness in the first place, and develop the coping skills needed to reenter the outside world as contributing members of society.
