About Pacific Sands Recovery Center

At Pacific Sands Recovery Center we understand that clients are in treatment to learn how to live their lives differently and we don’t expect them to have all the answers. We strive to provide professional, effective and individualized treatment to assist our clients. We value each client and we work hard to help our clients identify and recognize their potential to assist them successfully through the steps to recovery. We recognize that relapse can be a part of recovery and treat each client without judgement. A critical element of treatment is educating the client in making productive choices and changes, which is accomplished by focusing on positive actions, attitudes and behaviors. We understand what you’re going through because we’ve been there too!

When I came to pacific sands recovery I was so scared. I was convinced I wasn’t going to stay long and that all the rules and restrictions were useless. But throughout the one month I stayed there I fell in love with the dynamic and the staff. I got lucky to have had a great group with supportive people around me every minute of the day, someone to talk to when I had the bad overthinking days and the consistency, support and stability from the staff. It’s really worth it and I never thought I’d be the one to enjoy it but I really did.. I was accepted for who I was no matter the trouble I caused while being under the influence, they really brought me out of my own comfort zone. Leah is the best, she’s the case manager she helped me realize that it’s ok to surrender and let yourself be vulnerable because that’s truly the only way you learn. Mike E is the funniest man you’ll ever meet, and David is the coolest nurse ever, best in the game :) During the week, different speakers come in and teach us about relationships, addictions, co-dependency, and etc. Paxton, Gabe, and Parham are incredible, caring, goofy, but very intelligent and entertaining. No matter what time of day it is, all the staff members will go out of their way to make sure you feel comfortable and I am so grateful that I went through 30 days, coming in, a broken little girl and coming out a mature young woman. This is the best detox, developed a lot of friendships in there, and I thought I was the last person to ever go to treatment, kept telling myself I’m fine and I’m not an addict but that quickly changed when I got sober and realized how great, confident and powerful I felt within rather than feeling like a zombie everyday not knowing what to do with my life. I’m proud of myself for making a good decision once in my life. Appreciate them all <3

I have fought addiction for 25+ years. I was finally at that jumping off point and had enough. I reached out from a number on google and Katie had me on a plane from TN to California the next morning. I thank God for the gift of desperation every day. Without it I would have never made that call. It started with Katie. She saved my life that day. She got me to Pacific Sands where I was met with warm welcomes, patience, understanding and willingness from the staff there. Connor and DC made themselves readily available any time I ever seen anyone reach out or needed anything, including myself. They run a top notch facility. Therapist, case managers, support staff, the nurses, literally everyone involved was always very professional and understanding. Pacific Sands Recovery Center went above and beyond my expectations. I would highly recommend them to anyone needing and wanting help. They say you can’t teach an old dog new tricks but they opened my eyes in ways I never dreamed was possible. Give them a call. You won’t regret it.
