I'm really proud of myself, I've built a really strong foundation. Saffiyah my therapist listens and challenges me. I love her. Without me even knowing, she gets me to talk about things I need to work on and she also praises the things I do well. I feel very comfortable with her because she helps me reflect. I really appreciate that. And she laughs at all my jokes! The cafeteria staff were always great. Nurses were great, they always complimented me on my outfits and did a great job. They make me feel bubbly because they are attentive. I learned a ton of stuff after I got past my anger over the situation I put myself into. It took me a while to focus and settle down but now I've been taking notes and retaining information. I really enjoyed the groups, they are very direct and don't beat around the bush. A lot of my friends back home were very enabling but here people hold you accountable and let you openly and honestly say how you feel. People relate to you and dont judge you. Were all in this together.
