all I can say is thank you, thank you to everyone who bent over backwards to help me. Best Ambrosia by far out of all of the facilities, the community is so tight nit and the staff is so accommodating.I will love and miss all of you.
Therapist Christine was able to help me with what I needed to search for. Andrea and James had awesome groups. Dimitrius groups were powerful. The individuality of the groups was great because each therapist had a different curriculum focus. They offered CBT, DBT, music therapy, and family therapy which gave so many different perspectives. Therapist Tony is in recovery and is so raw and real. The facility has everything you need. It has space and privacy when you need it. I utilized the gym every single day. It has everything you need to focus on yourself and get better. The AA meetings at 6:30 was the most powerful hour of the day. The people who were there really wanted to be there, I learned so much from those meetings. I really learned who I am and to believe in myself. How to validate my own existence. Being open I've found so much fulfillment and learned how to practice discipline. I'm going to take everything I learned here and transfer it when I go back home, keeping my routine and getting a sponsor and going to meetings. I was also able to work on my relationship with my Higher Power. I would absolutely 100% recommend River Oaks to anyone needing treatment.
The best treatment center I've ever been to honestly this place completely changed the way I view recovery it helped me understand how important AA and NA are and how crucial it is to work the twelve steps in order to maintain sobriety I can't stress enough the fact that the watershed encourages the twelve steps so much that you actually get out and work the steps when you leave their I recommend them to anyone who needs it
