I was glad to see my Case Manager Veronica because she always has a positive energy and smile on her face. She's always glad to see me and always had great vibes. She helped me line up all my resources. Client Care coordinator Mattie was all around happy spirited, she fills an important role here having contact with clients. Anything she does is positive and she's always out there interacting with the clients. I loved the TA's Cecil who did my intake and made me feel welcome. The Veterans groups were great. They are doing great things with their veterans program. The comraderies was great and there was a lot of respect for what we've been through. It helped us create community instead of war stories. We spoke about mindfulness and coping. The facility is beautiful all together. The biggest thing for me was the welcome I received from everyone, Dr. Fahs was very concerned and cared for me, it meant a lot. I didn't know everybody's name but they knew mine and that's a powerful thing. River oaks gave me the opportunity to clear my head and become sound minded. It gave me the time to get the help I needed and I'm grateful. I would absolutely recommend coming here for treatment between the amenities and the team here all the way to the kitchen staff, its been great.
Great program. The staff helped me so much. The techs are all in recovery and they are very personable. They were always there to talk to me and give me advice when I was struggling. When there were a lot of people in there, you had to wait a while for your meds but I feel like that happens at a lot of centers. It happened at another one I went to too.
