About Twin Lakes Recovery Center

Twin Lakes Recovery Center is founded on the belief that long-term recovery is possible for everyone who desires and works for it. Our fundamental goal is to restore the individual to a healthier, happier, and more productive life, free from dependence on alcohol, addictive chemicals and destructive behaviors. We believe that each person who walks through the doors is a unique individual who has a very special set of needs. Our practices are built on the disease concept of addiction. Though addiction is incurable it is treatable. We believe that the families are as affected as the individual; and when possible, the family system is addressed as part of comprehensive care. Fundamental to our daily practices is the belief that all people have equal worth. Our decisions are made on the philosophy that each person has an inherent potential for change and growth and that certain proven principles help us all move toward continuous improvement, deeper relationships and greater joy, even in the face of difficulties. We will provide you with a meaningful treatment experience that addresses the whole person: Body, Mind and Spirit. We will do this without judgements or criticisms. We believe that by treating the under-lying causes of a substance abuse condition you can significantly increase your chances for a full, lifelong recovery. We acknowledge the paradox that recovery requires individual accountability and an ongoing supportive network. “You have to give it away to keep it.” Twin Lakes Recovery Center provides a safe and supportive atmosphere and a staff well versed in the recovery process, which we see as a lifelong adventure. Past failures are not indicative of the potential to live a life clean of addictive substances. We value our contribution to the exciting process of helping people move from hopelessness to hopefulness.

Twin Lakes was exactly what I needed when I needed it. The tools that I was taught there I used in short term and long term sobriety. The techs and administration there were patient and caring. I would highly recommend this facility!

From the street view: you think you are approaching the white house of the south. At the front door: painting peeling, dusty porch and poor landscaping. The tech was all on nice except the late-night crew. I was in my room asleep around 2am when the tech came in and pull the sheets off of me to scan my ankle monitor! The food was catered, and we were constantly served pizza, subs and fried chicken. On a good day: we got ribs and a salad bar from Ruby Tuesday, and we loved it. No activities like yoga, tennis, or a fitness area. There were three junkie fitness equipment that had seen better days (one was behind a tree with rust on it. Not enough linens available such as face towels. Too, too much cursing: the whole place was a breeding ground for drunken sailor conservations. Fishing bait left in the refrigerator with the food for the clients. Kitchen did even have clean sponges or dish towels. The hardwood floods have been stained in ages. NO admission or discharge paperwork is even given to client during the stay. My therapist is the best thing about the facility. I would not recomend this recovery center to no one.

Twin Lakes is a great recovery center. It helped save my son\'s life. All the staff are great there, but Amanda, hands down, is the BEST. She helped navigate not only my son, but our whole family through the recovery process. She worked diligently with my son throughout his stay at Twin Lakes and helped find him a sober-living facility for when he left. She was amazing with her emotional support, she was very professional, and very compassionate. I would highly recommend Twin Lakes for your short-term recovery needs.

Run run for your life. There main concern is money. Nobody ever calls the family to give updates unless to put your loved one on probation or kick them out for stupid stuff. Even let them leave grounds and come back. Even let friends come to visit without the stafff even knowing it. Pretty place. Ex drug users as therapist with no education. Very uneducated. Staff. Lack of education , lack of supervision, just really lack of everything except the nice grounds and buildings. The program is nothing without education!!!! They are not the worst , just not smart enough to help there selves much less another human. A real joke!!’ These therapist should be in the cleaning or cooking only!!!!!!

Great staff. The nurses were kind, compassionate, and explained everything to me. There was a good atmosphere with all the patients. I’m glad I came here to get help.
