After intake ( which was long and arduous, not to mention humiliating. Felt like I was entering gen pop in prison) I was just put in a room. After a few hours, I met with dr. Gall( zero bedside manner and the lack of empathy was staggering). I explained to him thatI have a problem breathing through my nose and that I needed medicine( which I brought, but because it was opened already they confiscated it). He said they would get me new medicine. I waited 14 hrs before I had to leave because I got no medicine. They could have walked to the CVS on the corner and got what I needed and been back in 15 minutes. This all could have been avoided with more information about what you can and can not bring. Also, over night when I was TRYING to rest, a staff member came into my room every half hour. Could never sleep at all. Bottom line is they were so concerned about everything else instead of focusing on what I needed to be able to stay and be successful. Hell, they didn’t care at all. They already got my money. So concerned about protocols and no concern for my situation. I get that people will try anything to get drugs even at a rehab facility. I also know that many people who are there, are there due to court order and to avoid jail. I was there on my own dime and own accord to try and get better. However, they treated me like I was a prisoner. All they had to do was go get me new medicine and everything would have been fine. But they were more concerned about protocols and policies then taking the time to actually HEAR me and work with me to address my problem so that I could have had a successful recovery. Overall, a very unpleasant experience at this facility
