I went there for a few hours. I was in need of a different kind of care but from the transfer my purse and makeup bag both got lost in the transition. I had the patient advocate do an investigation where I am now and it definitely never made it here at the news center I'm at. I keep getting a run around and if my belongings are lost I want to know what the protocol is for that being I was there for 4 hours max and promised that everything would be handled . I am just very upset. I just got the purse a month before and the makeup bag is from Wal-Mart and cost $50. The purse around $80.

This was the worst experience of my life. Upon entering the staff mostly nursing treated me like a common criminal. All my medication that was brought by me was thrown away or stolen. When I left the treatment staff kept all my belonging including my cell phone my wallet my money and my I'd. I was stranded 2 hours from home and had to walk 45 minutes to a wawa to use the phone. Thank god for my family. I made it back home to Maryland and had to be re prescribed my medication that I had to pay for out of my money because insurance would not cover it because MALVERN is doing illegal acts and ruining lives even more than they were. If I could put a lawsuit against MALVERN I absolutely would. I strongly encourage anyone who is struggling with addiction to seek another facility. Never again will I enter the doors of MALVERN. I will die from the disease of addiction before I return to MALVERN for help.

The Roc program really cares. The support provided by the Roc program not only to him but to the entire family, well after he had finished the program attests to the true nature of the dedication of the staff to truly help each family touched by this awful disease. It has been two years that my son is sober, yet they still check in and send encouragement and positivity our way. When you are as scared as I was as a parent, it’s a safe place that held my hand and never let go.
