Mirmont treatment center is a one of a kind facility that genuinely cares about it's patients. The staff there are extremely dedicated and empathetic to the most troublesome circumstances. Mirmont helped me tremendously and is why I was able to get sober. They instruct you on what you need to do to maintain your sobriety once released and is an amazing program for anyone who is serious about overcoming addiction. The program they offer saved me and gave me the second chance I desperately needed. The Alumni program is also a great tool to stay connected and continue to support each other. 5 Stars! Plus, the food was really good too! Who would have thought?! 🙏🙏🙏🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

I was there for 31 days and attended out patient there for 3 weeks - I have 7 months sober! If it wasn’t for this facility the faculty and my counselor lord knows where I would be! It’s run great the food is awesome yea how weird is that! Rooms are nice - nothing that I thought a rehab would be! Love Mirmont and I go back on Alumni night! Like a big family

VERY IMPORTANT - if you, or the person considering this facility, has ASTHMA(?) - DO NOT come here. The HVAC system here is absolutely toxic to anyone who has asthma (other lung issues? I don\'t know). I pulled handful upon handful of disgusting green/black wet mold from the a/c in each room I stayed in / bathroom ventilation vents are COMPLETELY CLOGGED with same mold (six inch ventilation ducts in every bathroom - that I checked - are completely \'closed\' with the same mold/mildew). **Treatment Effectiveness** a.) after 8 days I could not stay here anymore. #1 reason was the 24/7 asthmatic-inducing condition of the facility. I\'ve used a nebulizer 2 time in more than 25 years of asthma suffering - in Mirmont I needed it for 20 minutes every 8 hours, every day, as well as rescue inhaler every 6 hours - again, every day (i.e. 24 hours). b,) While the vast majority of the nursing staff is top notch (I\'d give them a 4.5 star rating) the counselors and ESPECIALLY THE \"CA\'s\"? were misusing of their (newfound?) \"authority\", very unprofessional (my roommate knew about me being transferred to a different therapy BEFORE I EVEN KNEW. His counselor (she is as toxic as they come - maybe she was a good counselor at one time but - not anymore ... told him just as I was getting word. This is just one example among many others ... c.) Having to leave after 8 days due to my asthma symptoms becoming life threatening(\"against medical advice\") I was very unceremoniously shown the door with my bag literally thrown into the lobby as I waited for my ride. More importantly - I was given NO post-attendance treatment plan Food is pretty decent given that it is a \"facility\". I know that a detox / rehab facility is not meant to be a \'vacation\' and will involve a lot of truly hard work, suffering, readjustments, etc. MIRMONT IS NOT A PLACE FOR ANYONE WHO HAS ANY TYPE OF BREATHING DIFFICULTIES - at all. Please ... look elsewhere.

These people are horrible people. My husband is there. I called with an emergency, i found my puppies with a strange shaped plastic bag. I explained that I am extremely scared that this might be something that had drugs in it. I have no idea where it came from. I begged them to ask my husband please and have him or someone call be back to let me know if he had possibly left something dangerous in the house. This situation could LITTERLY mean life or death for my sweet little puppies. No one has called back. I am so scared, however if he did not leave something here it could cost thousands to bring two puppies to an emergency veterinary hospital to be tested and that is really a lot for us. How can an organization expect anyone to support sending our loved ones there when being treated so poorly. All I can do now is try to stay awake and watch them all night and pray. I\'m so sick with worry and anger. He told me that my name was on a list that they would put my calls through, but they refuse to acknowledge said list.
