Symetria was the 4th MAT clinic I've attended many years ago. I was their 7th patient in college station when they opened their doors, so I know from my experience of the clinics I've attended, right away this place is different. The staff were extremely pleasant and inviting, the office itself was esthetically pleasing, they accommodated me in so many ways, I could go on and on about how they have gone above and beyond to keep me on the right path. It was here where I learned about Recovery Coaches and what they do. Symetria offered to pay for my recovery coach training classes, which were not cheap at all. The best part is the staff. Hands down, they're the most loving, caring, compassionate people I've ever met. I recommend Symetria to any and every one that has ears. Back then, I was their 1st successful discharge, tapering off methadone. The support from everyone from the receptionist to the nurse, to the counselor AND the program director, literally everyone had my back as I moved ahead in my life. I walked into symetria one year clean but an absolute MESS of a person, and I left someone completely different with a new love for life and I owe them everything just for what they put up with from me lol (as you can see I can TALK.. and talk, I did, to every one, for hours haha) 10/10 HIGHLY RECOMMEND
I was going to write something up to formally share with others on social media how much Sunspire helped save my life from alcoholism! I didn't realize until now that I could leave a review. I flew down to Sunspire in Texas because I had heard it is one of the best rehab centers in the country, and after being a patient there, I can say that statement is true. Sunspire's staff was very welcoming and passionate about recovery. The first week I was there I was monitored by very skilled nurses as I detoxes from alcohol and drugs. The next 3 weeks I received excellent care and became introduced to the AA program. Sunspire provides its patients with access to both on site AA meetings and local community AA and NA meetings. Sunspire has its patients attend classes to learn about their disease and practice life skills needed to be successful at living a sober lifestyle. To be honest, I am a nurse and I received charges for disorderly conduct and assault on a police officer when I had relapsed. Attending Sunspire has helped me in keeping my nursing license! Truly life changing! One of my favorite things about Sunspire is that they provide their patients with equine therapy. I will remember the therapy session I had with those horses for the rest of my life! The most memorable part of Sunspire is their dedicated and loving staff. I am truly blessed to have met the people I did at Sunspire. The helped me with a smooth discharge. Going to rehab is a hard thing for anyone but I would absolutely go to Sunspire again in a heart beat and reccomend it to a family member or friend! The food is delicious, it is decorated beautifully, and it even has a fitness center with a swimming pool! Exceptional health care center, easily one of the best in the United States.
