About Serenity Light Recovery LLC

Serenity Light Recovery is the place to come and get renewed and refreshed to begin a journey in recovery. We provide excellent trauma informed care in a loving, peaceful, and supportive environment without the institutional or hospital feel. We offer truly individualized treatment to meet each client where they are in their addiction by accommodating the individual’s specific needs. Not one size fits all, our goal is to empower our clients by identifying barriers to change and provide strategies for healthy coping skills, allowing them to achieve sustainable long-term recovery. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ikCjrTmZl38 Serenity Light Recovery is an all-inclusive campus comprised of a full medical detox facility, residential treatment center (30, 60 & 90 day) and an intensive outpatient program (IOP). Located on over 10 acres in Angleton, Texas, about one hour south of Houston Medical Center, we are a great escape from the commotion of the city, yet close enough for family to visit. With a 24-hour admissions staff, SLR is equipped to admit any time day or night. We offer an intensive family program to educate and assist the family on substance use disorder to aid in the healing process. Acupuncture, massage therapy, yoga, personal training, nutritional assessments, BioSound, private suites and an optional faith-based track are just a few of the therapeutic amenities available to develop a healthy lifestyle and promote a transformation for a new life free from drugs and alcohol. The majority of our staff is in recovery. We want to walk this journey with our clients by providing compassion and empathy. Our ultimate goal is to improve their quality of life and empower them to make positive choices.

Serenity Light Recovery, ironically, in my case, has an iconic phase called the "Phoenix Phase". It is a symbol of life, death and rebirth. I came here broken and I burst into flames, yet from my ashes I arose and was reborn. I was given hope when all was lost. I was given opportunity when there was none. I was given life when there was only death. I saw a beacon of light in the darkness, and from that light I saw freedom. I regained my innocence and I embraced my newfound freedom. I have been gifted with rebirth, opportunity, freedom from my addiction and serenity. Thank you Serenity Light
